Return Policy

At Athlete Standard, we want you to be confident in your order. This Return Policy explains the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds may be accepted.
By placing an order with Athlete Standard, you agree to this Return Policy.
1. General Return Eligibility
Eligible non-custom items may be returned for a refund, exchange, or store credit, subject to approval, provided that the item:
• is returned within 14 days of delivery
• is unused, unworn, and unwashed
• is in original condition
• has original tags, packaging, and accessories, where applicable
• is not marked final sale or otherwise non-returnable
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return, exchange, or refund unless required by law or approved by Athlete Standard due to damage, defect, or fulfillment error:
• customized apparel
• personalized items
• made-to-order products
• team orders produced to specification
• clearance or final sale items
• gift cards
• any item marked final sale or non-returnable at the time of purchase
Customized apparel is non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved order.
3. Custom Orders
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all customization details before production, including:
• spelling
• names
• numbers
• initials
• artwork
• colors
• sizing
• placement details
• any other submitted specifications
Once a custom or personalized order has entered production, it cannot be canceled, changed, returned, or refunded except where required by law or where there is a verified production defect or fulfillment error.
Athlete Standard is not responsible for customer-approved errors in submitted custom content.
4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact Athlete Standard within 5 days of delivery.
To help us review the issue, you may be required to provide:
• your order number
• a description of the issue
• clear photos of the item
• photos of packaging, labels, or damage where relevant
If the claim is approved, Athlete Standard may, at its discretion:
• replace the item
• repair the item, where appropriate
• issue a refund
• issue store credit
• offer another reasonable resolution
We reserve the right to determine whether an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect based on the information provided.
5. Return Process
To request a return, exchange, or report an issue, contact Athlete Standard at:

• your full name
• order number
• item(s) involved
• reason for the return or issue
• supporting photos if applicable
Returns should not be sent back without prior authorization unless specifically instructed.
Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to sender.
6. Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to an approved defect, damage, or fulfillment error, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or unless the return is the result of an error by Athlete Standard.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method for approved returns. Athlete Standard is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
7. Refunds
Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.
If approved, refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing time. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
Refunds may be denied or reduced if:
• returned items show signs of wear, use, washing, or damage not caused by Athlete Standard
• items are missing original tags, packaging, or included materials
• the item is non-returnable under this policy
• the return request falls outside the permitted return window
8. Exchanges
Exchanges may be offered for eligible non-custom items, subject to inventory availability.
If an exchange item is unavailable, Athlete Standard may offer a refund, store credit, or another suitable resolution at its discretion.
Customized, personalized, and made-to-order items are not eligible for exchange except in cases of approved defect, damage, or fulfillment error.
9. Store Credit
Where appropriate, Athlete Standard may offer store credit instead of a refund. Any store credit issued will be subject to the terms provided at the time of issue.
10. Order Cancellations
Orders for standard, non-custom items may be canceled only if they have not yet been processed, packed, or shipped.
Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items cannot be canceled once production, sourcing, or preparation has begun.
Athlete Standard reserves the right to refuse cancellation requests once order fulfillment is underway.
11. Refused Deliveries and Incorrect Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information at checkout.
Athlete Standard is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.
If a package is refused, returned due to incorrect address information, or undeliverable for customer-related reasons, any refund may be reduced by shipping, handling, return, or restocking costs where permitted by law.
12. Policy Abuse
Athlete Standard reserves the right to refuse returns, exchanges, refunds, or future service where we reasonably believe there has been abuse of this policy, fraud, excessive return activity, or misuse of our products or services.
13. Changes to This Return Policy
We may update this Return Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
The version of the policy in effect at the time of purchase will generally apply to that order unless otherwise required by law.
